With the turbulent business environment, and rating agencies, Boards, NASDAQ, the SEC banking regulators and other agencies increasing their focus on a company's ability to manage critical risk issues, the time is now to ensure the company has clearly defined boundaries for engaging in business risk, and a systematic method for monitor exposure areas for meeting the corporate goals. Ensuring your organization's Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) program is founded on a systematic, proactive approach will enable you to leverage risk to your competitive advantage. However, building it in a practical, scalable manner that can actually be implemented is a hurdle for many companies.

This presentation will provide you with practical understanding for building the key components of your ERM program, and suggestions to sequence it and make it successful.

After attending this meeting, you will be able to:

  • Obtain a concise understanding of the building blocks of an ERM framework.
  • Understand keys to successful implementation of a customized, appropriately scaled ERM program that leverages existing practices.
