 Tony P. Malfara, CPA, CGA Appointed to the Board of Directors of The Institute of Internal Auditors Canada

Today, the Chair of the Board of Directors of The Institute of Internal Auditors Canada (IIAC), Richard Arthurs, CIA, QIAL, announced the appointment of Tony P. Malfara, CPA, CGA as a Member of IIAC's Board of Directors.

"It is a pleasure for me to announce the appointment of Tony Malfara to The IIAC's Board of Directors," said Board Chair, Richard Arthurs. "For a number of years, Tony has been an active member of The IIAC, both at the local level with our Toronto Chapter and at the national level as a former National Committee Chair. He brings to The IIAC's Board a wealth of experience for advocating on behalf of the internal audit profession, specifically within the academic community, and we are all looking forward to working with Tony as we further our ongoing commitment to expanding the academic and business awareness and appreciation of internal audit within Canada."

A Senior Partner with KPMG's Risk Consulting Services Practice (GTA), Tony is Lead on a number of KPMG's significant risk advisory engagements including: internal audit, internal controls, enterprise risk, and Internal Audit Assessments (QARs). He is a member of the Board of Governors for The IIAC's Toronto Chapter, and past-Chair of The IIAC's Advocacy and Academic Relations Committee. Tony is also a former member of the North American Advocacy Committee for The IIA Global.
