 Nominate Your Candidates for IIA–Canada's Highest Awards

The Institute of Internal Auditors Canada is requesting nominations for its three most prestigious awards. All three awards recognize individuals who have contributed outstanding achievements in the field of internal auditing in Canada. The Arthur Child Distinguished Service in Canada Award honours IIA Canada members for their service to the organization in Canada. The Contribution to the Profession of Internal Auditing Award is given to individuals who have contributed significantly to the advancement of the profession in Canada. The Lifetime Achievement Award honours IIA Canada members who have shown extraordinary leadership and dedication over a lifetime of service to the profession in Canada.

ARTHUR CHILD DISTINGUISHED SERVICE IN CANADA AWARD

For contributions to the profession of internal auditing through participation in the activities of the IIA in Canada.

CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROFESSION OF INTERNAL AUDITING AWARD

For overall contribution to the profession in Canada, and where applicable, globally, through research, publications, education or other developments in the field of internal auditing.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Through a lifetime of accomplishments and dedication to the profession of internal auditing that directly impacted the profession and the organization of the IIA in Canada. While the awards primarily recognize contribution to the IIA in Canada, contribution at the North American and Global level, where applicable, will also be considered.

Each recipient of these awards and his/her guest will receive complimentary registration and travel expenses for the IIA’s 2017 Canadian Conference, which will be held in Edmonton, Alberta September 24-27, 2017. The award recipients will be recognized and presented with their award during the conference.

You are encouraged to consider carefully the criteria for each award and to recommend worthy candidates for the honours. Nominations should be as complete as possible and must be submitted on the official Award Nomination Form. Multiple nominations for the same candidate from different members are allowed, but each must be submitted separately. Nominations are reviewed and judged by IIA Canada’s Nominating Committee.
