 Nominate Your 2020 Candidates for The IIA Canada's Highest Achievement Awards

The Institute of Internal Auditors Canada is requesting nominations for its three most prestigious awards. All three awards recognize individuals for their outstanding achievements, leadership, dedication, and contributions to the internal audit profession in Canada. The Arthur Child Distinguished Service in Canada Award honours IIA Canada members for their service to The IIA Canada. The Contribution to the Profession of Internal Auditing Award recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the advancement of the internal audit profession in Canada. The Lifetime Achievement Award honours an IIA Canada member who has demonstrated leadership, dedication, and has been a positive contributor; providing a recognized lifetime of service to the internal audit profession in Canada.

THE IIA CANADA AWARDS


ARTHUR CHILD DISTINGUISHED SERVICE IN CANADA AWARD

This award recognizes contributions made to the internal audit profession through participation in the activities of The IIA Canada.

CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROFESSION OF INTERNAL AUDITING AWARD

This award recognizes a member’s overall contribution to the internal audit profession in Canada, and where applicable, globally - through research, publications, education or other developments in the field of internal auditing.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

This award recognizes an individual’s lifetime achievements, leadership, contribution, and dedication to the internal audit profession which has had a direct and positive impact on the profession and on The IIA Canada. While the award primarily recognizes contributions to The IIA Canada, a nominee’s achievements, leadership, and, where applicable, dedication at The IIA North American and Global levels will also be considered.

NOMINATION PROCESS

You are encouraged to carefully consider the award criteria, and to nominate individuals you believe merit these prestigious awards - through their actions, their overall contributions, and their demonstrated dedication to the internal audit profession in Canada. Nominations should be as complete as possible and must be submitted no later than Monday, November 9, 2020 by completing the Official Award Nomination Form, and submitting the form to The IIA Canada at IIACanada@theiia.org. Multiple nominations for the same candidate from different members are permitted, however, each candidate’s nomination must be submitted separately. All nominations received are reviewed, and judged by The IIA Canada’s Nominating Committee.
