As seen in the feature article of the August 2012 edition of the IIA Magazine, Transfer Pricing is a growing issue and is particularly relevant to internal auditors due to recent tax rule changes which require multinational companies to identify uncertain tax positions. This presentation will highlight what internal auditors should know about transfer pricing, some of the reporting and documentation requirements, and some risks internal auditors should be aware of when identifying transaction flows subject to transfer pricing policies. Internal Audit can play a key role by identifying related policies, transaction flows, and estimating any impact on the company’s financials due to transfer pricing.
