Event Summary

This one day fraud symposium will include topics such as:
  • Current trends in white collar crime
  • Dealing with the audit committee during an investigation
  • Third party red flags of fraud
  • Compliance and fraud
  • Interviewing the interviewers 

Learning Outcomes​
 Attendees will take away an overview and understanding of:

1) The changing role of the audit committee and internal audit when it comes to fraud,

2) current events and trends in white collar crime

3) an understanding how compliance has impacted fraud risk management

4) key issues when interviewing persons with knowledge or alleged fraudsters

5) an understanding of how to deal with audit committees during an investigation

6) red flags of fraud related to third parties


Attendees will walk away with a general understanding of these topics to assist them in identifying, react, and deal with these fraud events. Topics and outcomes are subject to change. ​

Payment Policy
The Philadelphia Chapter of the IIA will no longer hold registrations without prepayment.  Registrants will have the option to pay by credit card or by Freedom Pass .  Checks are no longer accepted for payment.  

Cancellation Policy
The chapter guarantees to each venue the number of registered participants.  If you register for an event, the Chapter expects you to pay the registration fee, as the Chapter incurs a cost for every registered person.  You are responsible for your registration fee regardless if you attend the event, unless you have cancelled within the cancellation period.
Refunds will be granted to those giving at least seven full days advanced notice.  You are responsible for your full registration fee without cancellation notice given or with no cancellation.  Substitutions are welcome.  Please contact our Meeting Manager at to cancel or transfer your registration.
