Event Description:
  The Philadelphia Chapter of the IIA is proud to sponsor the annual Spring Conference for 2014.  We are pleased to offer participants multiple concurrent track sessions including topics form Internal Audit; Information Technology; Fraud & Ethics; Governance, Risk and Compliance; and Specialized Knowledge topics.


 
Learning Outcomes: 
The Conference has been designed to accommodate participant groups seeking from a basic to advanced learning experience.  In general, no specific prerequisites are necessary. 
Each session has specific learning objectives which are described in the Conference Program which will be posted on the event website.

Advance registration AND payment are required.  Please note that our last several conferences were SOLD OUT and we were not able to accommodate walk in registrations.  Please register early to secure your space.
 
 
Lunch Selection:

  • Chicken - South Philly Chicken - Parmesan crusted prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed chicken breast, cianti demi-glace, fresh vegetables and rosemary-roasted potatoes
  • Fish - Roasted Tomato Salmon - Grilled salmon filet with a roasted tomato and fennel compote, fresh vegetables and saffron rice.
  • Vegetarian Option - Grilled Vegetable Lattice Puff Pastry
All entrees come complete with warm rolls and butter, coffee and teas, salad and dessert.

 

 

Important CPE Distribution Information

Please note the following process for earning and receiving CPE certificates.  Each person will be issued a bar code and will be scanned upon arrival into the conference.  Additional scans will happen during the conference and upon exiting the conference.  The scans will take the place of signing in to and out of the conference.  CPE certificates will not be distributed the day of the conference.  CPE certificates for CPEs earned will be e-mailed to each conference attendee approximately two weeks after the conference.

 

 

Discount for IIA Philadelphia Members who are currently out of work.  The IIA Philadelphia Chapter would like to extend the following discount to its members who may be in between jobs.  We are offering a discount of 50% off of the member rate, $137.50.  To apply for this rate, register as a member and then choose the check option.  Contact our event manager via e-mail and they will adjust the rate on your registration.   

 

Cancellation Policy

 

The Chapter guarantees to each venue, the number of registered participants.
If you register for an event, the Chapter expects you to pay the registration fee, as the Chapter incurs a cost for every registration.  
"Refunds will be granted to those giving at least seven days advanced notice. You are responsible for the full registration fee without cancellation notice given.  Substitutions are welcome."

Payment Policy
As of January​ 2014, The Philadelphia Chapter of the IIA will no longer hold seminar registrations without prepayment.  Registrants will still have the option to pay by credit card or by check, but payment must be received prior to the event date.  Credit card payments can be made online at the time of registration.  Check payments can be sent to the PO box in Cherry Hill, but must be received at least ONE WEEK PRIOR to the event.  One week prior to the event, the Chapter will cancel any registration for which no payment has been received.  The chapter will no longer accept payments on site.

The Institute of Internal Auditors, Philadelphia Chapter #108897, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE sponsors through its website:  www.learningmarket.org
