2013 IIA PICPA Student Case Competition

Dear Students and Professors,
The Philadelphia chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Academic Relations Committee and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) invites current students to participate in the third annual IIA/PICPA Case Competition.  The Case Competition is an interactive, educational, collaborative event that will challenge you to work with your peers to analyze data, develop ideas, and communicate your findings. The competition will also provide you with a glimpse of how a career in audit can provide you with exciting opportunities to learn, develop, and grow your career. Gather a few of your friends and show us what you can do!  Professors, please distribute to your students as you see fit.
All undergraduate students from the greater Philadelphia area colleges and universities are invited to participate.  Students should submit their written response to the case questions by April 5, 2013, and the top teams will make an oral presentation at an awards/celebration event on April 26, 2013 in center city Philadelphia.  Details accompany this letter in the attachment.
Approximately $5,000 in cash scholarships will be awarded!  The awards for each member of the top three finalist teams of 3 to 5 students will be:
1st Place: $600
2nd Place: $400
3rd Place: $200
