​About the Chapter

The continued success of the Chapter during its 70 years has been a direct result of dedicated members and capable leadershp.  The chapter's main focus has always been, and continues to be, the interaction and education of its members.​​  The Chapter sponsors monthly meetings and seminarswith presentations by internal audit practitioners and educators, including presentations by chapter members. The Chapter also sponsors Audit Roundtables that are discussion forum settings, College Relations “Student Nights,” and the annual Director’s Reception. Over the last several years, the Chapter’s marque event has been an All Day Training session Co-Sponsored with the St. Louis Chapter of the ACFE called the Multi-Track. This event offers multiple tracks for participants across a range of professions; from audit, compliance, fraud, to general business.

About the IIA

Established in 1941, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is an international professional association with global headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida, USA. The IIA is the internal audit profession's global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. Generally, members work in internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, information technology audit, education, and security.
