We will begin the evening with “Speed Networking”. All attendees will be participants in this portion of the event. We will give students opportunities to informally engage local professionals in small groups. This will be done in rounds to enable students to obtain different perspectives from different attending IIA members. Students and members can continue these conversations during the Networking/Career Fair portion of the event.
Our featured speaker will be Melanie Broyles, from Etiquette St. Louis. Her topic will be "Proper Etiquette for Students Entering the Business World". Melanie’s talk will cover etiquette for job interviews, professional dress, and professional dinners.
For the continued success of this event, we are seeking corporate sponsors for the student meeting costs. A contribution of $35 will support 1 student. Contributions are recognized at the Silver (2 students), Gold (4), and Platinum (8) level. Recognition will be given at the event as well as in the newsletter following the event. Please help us by making this year a record year!
We are also looking for companies that would like to have tables during the Networking/Career Fair portion of the event. There is no cost for reserving a table, but they are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are interested in sponsoring students or reserving a table, please contact Max Berendson at firstname.lastname@example.org 314-889-8363.
In addition, if you know any students or educators, please share information relating to the St. Louis IIA Chapter Scholarship. The application can be downloaded here
