In 2010, Ro was appointed by the Governor of the State of Iowa to the Regional Workforce Investment Board. Ro served as an Advisory Board member of the America Reads, America Counts Program in Iowa. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Management, the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Ro is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Des Moines, as well as Past-President and Board Member for the Civic Music Association.
Ro has been honored as the Woman of Influence Business Owner of the Year by the Des Moines Business Record in 2009 and was named Executive of the Year by Executive Women International, Iowa Chapter, in 2004.
She is certified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality assessment inventory and the FIRO-B. Ro graduated from the University of Manitoba in Management and Administration and is a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute.

* Continue on Doyle Drive going past the entrance to the Boys Town National Research Hospital on Boys Town National Hospital Road (on the left side)
* Turn Left onto Crawford Street (the second left on Doyle Dr).
* Take Crawford street towards the Boys Town Headquarter Building.
* Handicapped parking is available by the building. Additional parking is available in the parking lot to the west of the building. All parking is free
