Join your colleagues on December 11, 2013 to
enjoy a delicious lunch, hear an entertaining
speaker and exchange holiday greetings. The
annual Holiday Luncheon is jointly sponsored
by the New York Capital Chapter of the
Association of Government Accountants, the
Albany Chapter of the Institute of Internal
Auditors, the Albany Chapter of the Association
of Certified Fraud Examiners, and ISACA.
This year, we have Anne Bryan Smollin, CSJ,
Ph.D., speaking on “Making Each Moment
Count.” Anne is an international lecturer on
wellness and spirituality. Her dynamic public
speaking style and natural gift for entertaining
have sent her far from her Albany, New York,
home base to lecture on humor and its effect on
wellness, aging, spirituality and stress. In 1975,
Anne set out on the road to bring her message to
even more people. As an educational coordinator
for an Albany Consultation Center, Anne
presented parental effectiveness training
workshops along the East Coast. She also worked
as an adjunct professor for six colleges and
institutes, teaching courses on humor as a tool to
communicate and as a method in stress
management. She also serves as the executive
director of the Counseling for Laity center in
Albany, which offers guidance for married
couples, families, adults, and adolescents.
Join us for this enjoyable get-together.
