Meeting with a Side of Dining Etiquette

In the competitive job market interaction with coworkers, perspective employers and clients is critical.  Are you maximizing your professionalism and marketability in every setting?  Learn the basic strategies of effective dining etiquette, expectations of employers and tips on how to prepare.  The incorporation of a meal in a professional business setting or interview requires an added level of polish and focus. The presenter will address general dining etiquette rules and answer any questions you have about  do’s and don’ts.

About the Speaker

Blake Winchell is a Coordinator for Job Search with the LSU Olinde Career Center where he assists students in developing the skills to market themselves effectively in their professional careers.  In this capacity Blake works individually with students to build their resumes, interviewing skills, and professional polish in order to communicate with employers or graduate schools. In addition to his primary responsibilities, Blake advises students, staff and alumni on business etiquette, social media, and networking. Blake is a two time alum of LSU, holding a Master of Arts in Education, Student Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  He currently serves as the President of the LSU Delta Chi Fraternity’s Alumni Board of Trustees and the Treasurer of the Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers.  Blake lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Jennifer, and his 4 month old son Brennan.
