This program provides overarching guidance to ensure consistent, systematic, corporate-wide processes are in place for the prevention, detection, reporting and investigation of any suspected act of waste and/or wrongdoing.
The Whistle-Blower Program has been in operation for over 6 years and Jackie Di Salvo, Program Manager, will give us a brief overview, including background, reporting and a selection of completed case results.
Jackie Di Salvo is the Manager of the Whistle-Blower Program at the City of Calgary, a position she has held since May 2009. She has approximately 27 years of experience in investigations, auditing, and management. She has a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge and is a CMA, CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and CIA.
