ABOUT THE TOPIC
Using Kum and Go as a case study, Adam will explain how they transformed their physical operations and internal work environment and identify ways to implement more sustainable approaches, all the while examining the return on investment and the business case for such investments including a life-cycle assessment audit of its supply chain, which it plans to review at the annual vendor summit.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Adam is the Manager of Sustainability at Kum & Go, an award-winning privately-owned convenience store chain with over 430 locations in 11 Midwest states. He champions company efforts on LEED certified construction, energy-efficiency retrofits, recycling, water conservation, and alternative fueling stations. Also Adam coordinates the volunteer Green Task Force. He has seven years of international experience in environmental education and leadership training, working in 6 countries on 4 continents. Adam has an MBA from Maharishi University of Management and hold multiple professional certifications in sustainability, including LEED AP.
