|Event Summary |
This course will meet your New Jersey Law & Ethic
CPE requirement. All it takes is a look
at news headlines to see a business world littered with victims of unethical
behavior. See not only how unethical
behavior can ruin careers, bring debilitating expenses and fines to any
company, or lead to prison terms for executives and others, but how individuals
and companies that act with integrity can drive employee and customer
satisfaction while improving company performance. |
It is in an organization’s best interest to demonstrate a
public commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making. This course presents participants with the
foundations of ethical behavior, leading into a detailed analysis of the
profession’s code professional conduct as defined in the AICPA Code of
Prof4essional Conduct as well as within the statues and rules promulgated by
the New Jersey State Board of Public Accountancy. At the conclusion of this session you will be
able to define, compare and contrast, and apply the following concepts:
- Ethics integrity and compliance
- Ethical foundations – e.g., ethical
dilemmas, judgment and values.
AICPA rules that apply to New Jersey CPAs – e.g., responsibilities to other
persons, advertising, and solicitation.
