Last year's event was a huge success with 230+ professionals in attendance both days and the highest feedback ratings of any chapter event offered!  With your attendance and an expanded venue, we are hoping to build upon the success of prior events with a goal of 300 people in attendance each day!   This year’s venue, Swissotel Chicago, offers more space and networking locations throughout the day. Additionally, complimentary Wi-Fi and discounted valet parking ($29) is available for all attendees.

The conference is a two-day event containing the most real world application of Information Security and Cybersecurity knowledge and skills that can be applied to the world of Internal Audit, IT Audit, InfoSec, Risk, and Compliance. This year’s theme addresses emerging threats by discussing solutions and how the union of Audit, InfoSec, and Risk/Compliance departments creates a strong force, allowing the united enterprise to strike back against cyber threats. Following the success of last year’s event, the dual-track format featuring concurrent technical and non-technical tracks is offered again for the 2018 conference.

Past topics included Zero Day Research, Explaining Cybersecurity to the Board, Tales for the FBI, Cybersecurity Auditing Toolkit. This year’s topics include the return of our CISO panel and the introduction of a new CAE panel (to see what Boards are asking about cybersecurity).  Additionally, we will have sessions covering some of the leading edge cybersecurity and cyber-risk management topics presented by industry leaders. Hot technology topics include: blockchain security concerns, artificial intelligence, data loss prevention, data privacy, GDPR: Post 5/25. The request for speakers will come out in June 2018, but do not hesitate to reach out directly to Corbin Del Carlo or Jason Torres (contact information below) if you are interested in speaking at the conference.
