Chapter Achievement Program

The Chapter Achievement Program (CAP) is a recognition program that tracks the Detroit Chapter’s activities over the course of a chapter year.  The excel based spreadsheet records completion of certain activities and is submitted to IIA HQ at the end of the chapter year.

Chapter health is measured into bronze, silver, or gold based on chapter activities that align with The IIA North American Strategic Plan for four service categories – programming, certification, advocacy, and membership.  To achieve a ‘gold’ status, our chapter continues to coordinate and partner with IIA HQ to offer programming, promotes and encourages IIA certifications, advocates for the IIA and the profession, and maintains a strong chapter membership.

·         Bronze = On-time completion of Chapter Health

·         Silver = On-time completion of Chapter Health + additional activities

·         Gold = On-time completion of Chapter Health + Silver + additional activities

·         Platinum = 10 of 11 years with Gold achievement

·         Ruby = 20 years of Gold achievement

·         Sapphire = 25 years of Gold achievement

·         Diamond = 35 years of Gold achievement

Chapters are required to use the CAP Excel template to submit their annual CAP activities.

The Detroit Chapter is proud of its SAPPHIRE standing!  Our membership continues to support and drive growth and understanding in the world of internal audit.
