William Hodge has over 15 year of experience in IT security, IT audit, and IT compliance. William has experience with multiple regulatory programs such as NERC CIP, GLBA, SOX, PCI DSS/PA DSS, FISMA, CFATS, and ANSI/X9 TR-39. William also has experience in the development of organizational IT security and compliance vision and strategy; the design and implementation of information security, risk management, and compliance programs and infrastructure; the design and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery programs; and the design and implementation of IT security solutions. William began his IT security and audit career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he conducted IT audits and assessments of clients including TVA, Entergy, Kentucky American Water Company. William then joined Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) where he established and managed the Information Security Team. William left KUB to join Elavon where he was instrumental in the establishment of the Information Security Group and brining the organization into compliance with PCI DSS. William left Elavon to start his own consultancy where he has conducted IT Security, IT Control, or IT Compliance projects for organizations such as Elavon, US Bank, Barclay Card, Lanier, Georgia Gulf, WorldPay, FirstView Financial, TransCard, and multiple government agencies and contractors.

Information Security - the course is an overview of the numerous well publicized security breaches that have occurred over the last year, commonalities, what could have Internal Auditors done to mitigate those breaches, and what can Internal Auditors do going forward to prevent, detect, or mitigate security breaches.
