​​​Welcome to the IIA of Fort Worth Chapter

  

 The Institute of Internal Auditors of Fort Worth Chapter is a professional association of internal auditors. Our Chapter meets monthly from August to May. We offer local training, education, and networking via our meetings and events. Please join us for a great lunch, networking opportunities and CPEs. Most meetings are held at the City Club of Fort Worth.

 

 
What's Happening at our Chapter?
 
  
 
A big Thanks to our chapter members and UNT students who volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House on Sunday, November 3rd, serving a taco bar! The Ronald McDonald House provides support to families and their sick children, including meals, through the Meals from the Heart Program.

 Our next meeting will be a 4 hour Ethics seminar on November 13th: Accounting Ethics, presented by Richard Mark.
In December, we are hosting an all-day training event for governmental auditors: Yellow Book 2018, instructed by Leita Hart-Fanta on December 13th. Course fee is $200 for members and non-members for 8 hours of CPE.
The January 2020 meeting will be a joint meeting with the FW Chapter of the ACFE at City Club on January 29th. Presenters will be Dr. Tony Gerth with Strategic Storytelling and Amanda Stephens with Marital Dissolution

In February, we will have a joint meeting with the FW ISACA Chapter, with the possibility of earning 3 hours CPE: Dr. Lineros and UNT Students will present on Lessons Learned from Ethereum Smart Contract Implementations, Puneet Singh, Principal with Encryption Consulting LLC, will give us a Deep Dive into Encryption, and Anke Eckardt, CAE for Lehigh Hanson, Inc/ HeidelbergCement will speak about GDPR.
