The Los Angeles Chapter of the IIA invites you to participate in the Spring 2021 Student Case-Competition.

$2,850 in cash and prizes to be awarded!

Dear Students and Professors, The Los Angeles chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Academic Relations Committee invites students to participate in the annual Student Case Competition. The Case Competition is an interactive, educational, collaborative event that will challenge you to work with your peers to analyze data, develop ideas, and communicate your findings. Dear IIA Los Angeles Chapter Members and Internal Audit Professionals/Prospective Members:

Summer was a time for reflection, recalibration, and retreats (both officer and Board of Governors)!  We held two strategic planning meetings to prioritize our top initiatives and set the course for the upcoming 2019-2020 year.  We ensured that our goals are aligned with IIA National’s goals.  We also engaged an executive coach to help bring our team to a higher level of empathy, synergy and productivity.  I can confidently say that our strong team of Officers and dedicated Governors are focused on achieving our top three initiatives:

1.Growing Academic Relations
2.Providing valuable programming to enhance member engagement
3.Helping more members achieve certifications

Now that the successful International Conference is behind us, we have returned to the normal cadence of our monthly events!  I hope you are all excited about our upcoming programming.  These meetings are designed with your needs and interest in mind, and we greatly appreciate your support.  We hope that you can take advantage of the informative curriculum and opportunities to network with your fellow Internal Audit Professionals.  Please see details below  regarding our November joint event with ACFE.  The theme is Anti-Fraud.  This is typically one of our most well-attended events, and we recommend registering early to guarantee your spot.

Please check back at our website for upcoming events.  You can also follow us on LinkedIn or email ( to request to receive our monthly Newsletter for so much more!
