                         Moncton:  Grant Thornton Office - 633 Main Street, Suite 500
                         May add additional sites depending upon location of those registering for the session
 
Audience:     New internal auditors who have begun their internal audit careers within the past two years.
 
Fees:              First person:  $30+HST = $34.50, includes a light breakfast
                        Second person:  Free
                        Third person:  $30+HST = $34.50, includes a light breakfast
                        Forth person:  Free and so on
 
Session description:
The roundtable will include a presentation on audit project types and related reporting, followed by a facilitated discussion to promote further understanding of various types of audit engagements and how they link to the Standards.  At the end of the session, we will have a brief open discussion on items of interest to the participants which is intended to help us identify a topic for the next roundtable session.
 
Participants will receive 2 continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
     
Beth Raymond is an Internal Auditor with the Internal Audit Centre (IAC) at the Province of Nova Scotia. Beth graduated in 2005 from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Marketing.  In 2012, she attained the Institute of Internal Auditor’s Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.  Beth’s work experience includes 3 years in financial accounting roles and over 3 years of internal audit experience in both the private and public sectors.
