Christine Harden is a native of Alabama. She attended the public schools in Montgomery County, Alabama. She is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Master’s in Business Administration from Alabama A & M University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Association of Governmental Accountants, American Institute of CPAs and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Ms. Harden has been employed by the State of Alabama, Department of Examiners of Public Accounts since 1988. She currently serves as the Director of Research and Professional Development. She formerly served as Assistant Director of the County Audit Division. Ms. Harden has been a frequent presenter at departmental in-service training programs and at various county governmental association conferences throughout the State. Ms. Harden has also instructed classes in the Governmental Accountant and Auditor Training Program at Auburn University at Montgomery.
