Speaker:  Britt Wood, CPA, CFE, CISA, CGFM, ACL Certified Data Analyst 

Britt joined the Department of Revenue on March 18, 2013, as the Tax Audit Supervisor for the Electronic Data Group (EDG). The EDG supports the field tax auditors in obtaining electronic data and providing statistical samples and results for the audit. 

Prior to joining the Department, Britt worked for ACL Services Ltd.  ACL is the software package used by the EDG to load and analyze the data obtained from the tax payer. While working for ACL, she contracted with the Office of Inspector General for Amtrak to aid in setting up a continuous auditing/monitoring division and process. Before working for ACL, Britt worked for the TN Treasury Department as the Director of Internal Audit and the Comptroller of the Treasury, Division of State Audit as a financial and compliance auditor.  She has been a presenter for and on the board of the Nashville Chapter ACL User Group, Certified Fraud Examiners and the Association of Government Accountants.  She has attained the designations of Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Government Financial Manager, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and ACL Certified Data Analyst.
