Elevating the strategic relevance of internal audit
Internal audit functions continue to face higher expectations from various stakeholders, including the audit committee and management, as a result of the vital role it plays in an organization’s overall governance ecosystem. To ensure its strategic relevance, internal audit must be insightful and demonstrate value through an appropriate balance of assurance and advisory-type activities – all while focusing on being as efficient and cost-effective as possible in an environment of economic and financial instability.
Join our IIA session on Tuesday November 5th, 2013 to learn how you as an internal auditor and your internal audit function can continue to increase the strategic relevance of internal audit and deliver on heightened stakeholder expectations.
The session will be led by Terry Hatherell, Deloitte Partner with over 20 years of internal audit leadership experience.
