Welcome to the NEPA Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors Web site.

Our next meeting of the 2017 - 2018 chapter year will be a dinner meeting at Marzoni's Brick Oven & Brewing Co.
 
When: Wednesday, February 28th.
 
Where: Marzoni's Brick Oven & Brewing Co., 26 Montage Mountain Rd., Moosic, PA 18507
 
Time: Presentation will begin at 5:00 p.m., please arrive prior to the start of the presentation
 

Topic: 2018 Tax Update - 2 CPE Hours

Speaker:
Barry Williams, JD, MT, MBA, CPA

 

Barry is a professor of Accounting and Dean of the William G. McGowan School of Business at King’s College. His academic background includes a J.D. from Widener University, School of Law, a Masters in Taxation from Villanova University, and an M.B.A and B.S. in accounting from Wilkes College.

 
He is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Florida. A regular contributor to academic and professional journals, he has contributed to “Principles of Business Taxation”, a textbook
published by the Commerce Clearing House.

Menu: A limited menu will be available and shared at a later date.  The drink menu includes 2 complimentary alcoholic drink vouchers that will be provided at the event.

Cost:
Members: $30.00
Non-members: $35.00
Students: $15.00

All can pay upon arrival.

News: The NEPA Chapter attained accreditation from the PA State Board of Accountancy to provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits at upcoming meetings and seminars.

 

The credits are applicable for CPAs, as well as all IIA certifications.  Non-IIA members are always welcome to attend any meetings and obtain CPE credit.
