The 2013 Technology Risk and Audit Conference
Leveraging internal technical advisors in order to address
increasingly complex external risks

Friday, May 17:  FIU Kovens Conference Center
Growing operational complexity and rapid technological advancements have rendered companies largely dependent on third parties such as suppliers, outsourcing partners, vendors, consultants, and more. While these relationships can reduce costs, increase efficiency, and grow revenues, they also can significantly increase risk.

Additionally, with the rising incidence of fraud, security breaches and technological failures, organizations are looking to their internal technical specialists to assist in the identification, measurement, management, and mitigation of external risks and exposures.

The IIA Miami Chapter along with ISACA South Florida have organized this conference to aid organizations to address outsourcing, fraud, security and compliance risks by showcasing speakers who specialize in external threat best practices, benchmarking, tools and methodologies.
