Steve D. Thompson, Ph.D.- Executive Director, Marketing and Communications at Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School of Education and a Program Professor of Educational Leadership. A former administrator at University of Miami, a professional and trade acquisitions and development editor for Wiley/ Jossey-Bass, an assistant professor of education at Barry University.  He edited numerous K-12 educational books and published academic articles. http://www.sdthompsonphd.com/
 
Pete De La Torre - President/CEO of The Renatus Group, LLC, an organization that specializes in re-inventing businesses through consulting, business facilitation, training and professional speaking services.  Mr. De La Torre held key positions with numerous non-profit and business organizations and he is hosting “The Pete De La Torre Business Program”, a live weekly radio show focusing on economic development and business opportunities for South Florida. http://www.renatusgroupfl.com/

Sessions Highlights
Communication Styles:  Communication styles vary widely, and in this session, through the lens of ancient wisdom and post-modern applications, participants will cultivate a resonant and consistent imprimatur in all forms of communication—speech, written, and iconic—both explicit and implicit.
 
Continuous Self-Improvement: This session will show how to promote personal self-improvement and it will address both how to engage in workplace self-improvement and how to create a personal brand through narrative, iconography, and affect in varied workplace contexts. Practical applications will address personal websites, social media, text messages, and posts.


Networking in the New Economy:  This interactive session will teach participants how to be a successful networker in the new economy. The participants will learn the importance of on-going effective strategic planning and implementation of networking activities both internally and externally.
 
Personalized Branding “Create Top of Mind Recognition”:  The session will help identify uniqueness in today’s marketplace and teach how to maximize someone’s personal skill sets to create top of mind, long term branding. Become a brand of your own through a concerted marketing approach!
