Description:
We are familiar with the annual physical inventory audit on large balance sheet items, but those are not the only “inventories” in our companies. Where else could we be looking and what might we find?
The Presenters:
Catherine Wakefield, CPA, FHFMA, CIA, CHC, CRMA has over 30 years of health care finance experience. Her hospital finance background includes positions in Revenue Management, Controller, Chief Financial Officer, Compliance and Internal Audit.
Ms. Wakefield is currently working for MultiCare Health System as Vice President of Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit where she serves as Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer and Chief Audit Executive.
Wayne Purves, MBA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CHC, CRMA has more than 20 years of internal audit, regulatory compliance, risk advisory and consulting experience with organizations in the United States, Europe and Asia. Mr. Purves earned a MBA and BS degrees in Finance from the California State University and is currently employed with MultiCare Health System as the Director of Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit.
