If you have not yet taken or passed an exam part, you’re in a great position to get started today! Under the transition plan, Parts 1 and 2 in the current four-part format qualifies as Parts 1 and 2 in the new three-part format. By registering and sitting for Parts 1 and 2 prior to the launch of the new exam format, you set yourself on a solid course toward becoming a CIA. You give yourself the flexibility and opportunity to earn your CIA in either format, on a schedule that works best for you.

Michael J. Fucilli, CIA, CFE, is the Auditor General at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York City. The MTA is the largest public transportation organization in North America and has an operating budget of more than $11 billion. Mike is responsible for an audit staff of 85 professionals. Mike has over 30 years of auditing experience in the private and public sector with such companies as Manufactures Hanover Trust, ITT and NJ Transit. Mike is the on the Institute of Internal Auditors’ North American Board and the IIA’s Global Board. He is also on the Board of the IIA NY Chapter. Mike has been a speaker on various occasions for the Institute of Internal Auditors, MIS Training Institute and APTA on such topics as Risk Assessment, Quality Assurance and Operational Auditing. Mike is also a Staff Instructor for Pace University where he teaches the IIA Learning System for the Certified Internal Auditor Exam.
Institute of Internal Auditors - Portland Chapter Refund Policy: To limit losses on IIA events, any cancellation notice received less than 25 days in advance of an event will be charged the full price for the event. It is acceptable to have a substitute attend the event on behalf of the registered person. Refunds requested prior to the 25 day deadline will be refunded, minus the processing fees charged to the IIA by Eventbrite. Cancellation and refunds should be requested of Eventbrite
