Please join the IIA Seattle chapter for our panel discussion on Allyship in Audit!

Allies are people who make intentional decisions to understand, empathize, and act in support of others, and allyship is a practice to uphold a culture of inclusion. How do you become an ally, what does allyship look like in internal audit, and what is our role in the advancement of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)?

You are invited to join us for a special “Allyship in Audit” event on Thursday, April 15th. Our distinguished panel will discuss the importance of DE&I and its impact on organizations, the urgency of gender equity in the workplace, and methods to be an active ally within and outside the internal audit function, as well as sharing experiences and insights from their career. Breakout sessions will provide an opportunity for you to network and reflect on how to apply allyship in audit. Bring your questions, open minds, and ideas to this exciting session focused on DEI and allies.

The diverse panel includes internal audit and DEI leaders from local Pacific Northwest companies such as Salesforce, Darigold, Protiviti, Smartsheet, and Microsoft.

Alice Thompson, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Smartsheet

Angie Sullivan, Director of Internal Audit at Salesforce

Edgardo Alifano, Chief Audit Executive at Darigold

Natasha Barnes, Associate Director of Internal Audit and CEO Action Racial Equity Fellow at Protiviti
