The IIA Sacramento Chapter offers exciting opportunities and some of the most cost effective educational opportunities for auditing professionals. The Institute of Internal Auditors is registered with The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Check out the site for some of the educational opportunities that we are offering.

The IIA Sacramento Chapter also partners with other professional organizations within Sacramento and in the Bay Area to include IIA, ISACA, AFWA, and AGA. Opportunities will be announced when they are offered to Sacramento Chapter IIA Members.
Looking for CPE's? Why not volunteer for the IIA Sacramento Chapter
Did you know that a maximum of 30 CPE hours may be awarded in the participation category in each two year period for participation as an officer or committee member in a professional industry organization related to internal auditing? One CPE hour for each hour of qualifying participation will be awarded. See for more details.

San Francisco State Student Night
On Wednesday, November 12th Kevin Shaw participated in a Student Night with SF State's Accounting Students Organization and the NorCal East Bay Chapter of the IIA. Kevin presented with Oakland City Auditor Elect, Brenda Roberts and Perry Liu, CAE CSAA Insurance Group. Professor John O'Shaugnessy, from SF State hosted the event. Presenters talked about their experiences in Internal Audit and why internal auditing is a rewarding career choice. Students asked many questions and in the end it was a very enjoyable evening.
