Overview:
People follow a predictable pattern of growth as they develop in a role. Understanding this model and its 4 stages is a great tool for preventing burn-out, career derailment and getting “stuck”.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this course, attendees should understand the following important topics that will be covered:
- Understand the cyclical 4 Stages of Development
- Understand the dual components of performance
- Modeling low engagement as a blend of both desire to perform coupled with confidence to perform
- Understand the Generalist – Specialist continuum and self-assess the impact on your own career path.
- Diagnosing the cycle in others, as well as myself.
- The inviolable issue of “job fit” and understanding competence vs. gifting vs. passion.
