Business Continuity: Audit Considerations and Concepts

Nathan Chao, Ernst and Young LLP

Strategic Business Reasons, Compliance and Regulatory Reasons, and Current Business Landscape have increased pressure on our companies to improve performance, resiliency and sustainability in the wake of a disaster, loss of supplier or service delivery interruption.  However, many companies are still in the infancy stages of developing business continuity programs. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: In this session, we will explore strategies to audit and assess business continuity programs/solutions that are being leveraged by risk management teams to manage business resiliency and service delivery risks.

Speaker Notes: Nathan has over six years of IT experience, with the last four years focused on solving his client’s needs around reducing risk through development of Business Continuity Management Programs and identifying IT process improvements through internal audits and assessments.
