During this past year, the chapter has struggled to get member participation and support chapter member events. The leadership team has dedicated themselves to bringing quality programs to its members. The two main objectives of any Chapter are to serve the members and to serve the profession. The IIA has been doing this since 1941, and the San Fernando Valley Chapter has supported these efforts since 1981 – over 31 years.

Without the support of local internal audit professionals like you, The IIA will have no alternative but to deactivate the chapter and bring to a close 31 years of service to the internal auditing profession in the San Fernando Valley area.

Now more than ever, we need you to assist in supporting an active and engaged local chapter for the 300+ internal audit professionals located in this area. What better hedge against an uncertain economy and job market can there be than an affiliation with over 170,000+ internal auditors around the world! Your local IIA chapter can help you build and maintain a far reaching professional network.

Together, we will make something happen!

Thank you, in advance, for your commitment and support,

Karla Sasser, Volunteer, IIA San Fernando Valley Chapter President

Christy Decker, Volunteer, IIA West Region District #4 Representative

Lynn Theriault, Volunteer, IIA West Regional Advisor and IIA San Fernando Board Member
