This is a two-days training, combining lecture with a hands-on, case-study based workshop that introduces Auditors and Information Security Professionals to the principles and practice of Business Continuity Management (BCM).  It includes standards, methodology, and audit and review techniques for both business and Information Technology resilience and recoverability.

Continuing Professional Education Credits
All attendees are eligible to receive up to 16 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) credits by attending.  To receive CPE credit, ISACA and IlA Southern New England (SNE) requires that participants sign-in on the Sign-in Sheets (morning and afternoon) provided.  CPE certificates will be provided after participant completion of the Session Evaluation Form that will be distributed at the end of the program.
 
About Your Speaker
Steven Ross – Executive Principal, Risk Masters, Inc.
Steve holds certification as a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP). He is a specialist in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management and IT Disaster Recovery Planning. He has implemented Business Continuity Management programs, disaster recovery plans and resilience preparations for numerous banks, government agencies and industrial corporations. Prior to founding Risk Masters, Steve was with Deloitte & Touche as the leader of their Business Continuity Management practice. In recent years, his focus has been on the resilience and recoverability of large corporate business and technology environments with particular interests in establishing business continuity programs, designing resilient data centers and planning for pandemic response. He is editor of the multi-volume series, e-Commerce Security, and author of several of the books in the series, including e-Commerce Security: Business Continuity Planning. His book, “Creating a Culture of Security”, was published in 2011.

Directions:
Heading North
If you are heading North on I-91, take Exit 23 and turn left at the end of the ramp. As you approach the third traffic light, get into the middle or left lane and, at the traffic light, turn LEFT onto Cromwell Avenue, also known as "The Shunpike."
Heading South
If you are heading South on I-91, take Exit 23 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Go straight through the next traffic light. As you approach the second traffic light, get into the middle or left lane and, at that traffic light, turn left onto Cromwell Avenue, also known as "The Shunpike."
Go to the third traffic light and turn left onto Brook Street. The entrance to 716 Brook Street is on your right; follow around to back of the building marked suite 100 and look for the CSCPA awning.
