"Sharpening Your Report Writing Skills"

Presented By: Ms. Joanne Feierman
CPE Hours: 7
This workshop will focus on the techniques that enable participants to write clear, concise and persuasive reports. After noting the differences between academic writing and audit writing, participants learn five techniques that will help them produce clearer more concise findings. During the program, participants will see how these good writing techniques will transform wordy or confusing material into a clear, effective writing document.

  • The best way to present the condition
  • How to ensure that risk statements are effective
  • Techniques for making key points stand out
  • How to write clear sentences
  • How to create a logical flow of information in each finding
  • The importance of parallel structure
  • Editing techniques
