Our fourth QUARTERLY training luncheon meeting will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the Capital City Country Club from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive at 10:50 a.m. to complete our registration process.

Chad Elkin's Bio
Chad has been a business continuity and disaster recovery practioner for over 7 years within a multitude of industries including healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, financial services and government/public sector. Chad has assisted clients with many important endeavors including performing reviews and enhancements of business continuity and disaster recovery management methodologies and frameworks, assessing and improving disaster recovery processes, performing BIA, threat/risk assessments, developing recovery strategies, test plans, and documenting Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
Prior to joining EY, Chad was a systems administrator focusing on Microsoft and Unix based systems.
Performed a global BIA for Kraft Foods Group Inc.
Performed current state gap assessment of the business continuity program for Nationwide Insurance, Southern Utility Company, and Printpack, Inc.
Served as a primary subject matter expert in a project to develop disaster recovery plans for US Department of Treasury, Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Department of Children & Families, and Department of Highway Safety.
Developed governance framework and methodology for Healthfirst, a healthcare management service provider.
Performed business continuity and disaster recovery audits for a variety of companies including Southern Company, Printpack Inc., Aerojet and Milliken.
