Session Overview
 
Does your Business Continuity Program meet the needs of your organization? An effective Business Continuity Governance program provides assurance that it does.
 
In this session we will be discussing the importance of a rigorous, dynamic and effective governance program for Business Continuity. Shanda will be presenting a flexible and actionable four phased Business Continuity Governance Framework, and will provide practical actions, recommendations (including key considerations and tips for implementation), and real world examples.
 
 
Speaker – Shanda Chronowich, Senior Manager, Meyers Norris Penney
 
Shanda is a Senior Manager in MNP Enterprise Risk Practice, with 19 years experience focused solely on Business Resiliency.  Shanda holds  the CBCP and the CRM.
 
Shanda has worked extensively with various organizations in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management and Emergency Management. Executing risk assessments, business impact analysis, strategy and plan development, training and exercising. She has managed numerous projects in the public and private sector and is especially recognized for her facilitation skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients during complex and challenging engagements.
 
Prior to joining MNP, Shanda was the National Practice Lead for Protiviti, the Director of Business Continuity for Resolve Corporation. Manager at PwC and was the Business Continuity Manager for Fidelity Investments Canada, where she garnered extensive event management experience, pandemic planning experience, as well as a broad base of effective project management techniques.
