Session Overview

What you knew about IT and Cybersecurity seemed current a year ago, but now it feels like everything has changed yet again. One cannot simply rely on last year’s file, particularly when it comes to advances in technology. Which leads to the question: how are changes in innovative technology and advances in cybersecurity impacting the internal audit function?

After this session you will understand the latest developments regarding:

·       How disruptive technology and advanced threats are impacting how we conduct internal audits;

·       Why existing frameworks may not be keeping pace with the rapid changes of technology;

·       Examples of the threats that may arise if you fail to keep pace with this ongoing evolution; and

·       Approaches to help your Internal Audit function adapt to these changes and support your organization.
