Session Overview
Many organizations
disclose information to stakeholders that are not part of their core financial statements,
or may go beyond the scope of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices. Is there
a role for Internal Audit to provide risk-based, objective assurance over these
disclosures that can generate public and media interest, review by Securities
Regulators, coverage by analysts, and reliance by shareholders or stakeholder?
Join us to hear how an experienced public company CFO and public accounting
firm risk services leader view the possible frameworks, risks to be evaluated
and controls that should be in place for any organization publishing Non-Financial
and Non-GAAP measures.
