Speaker: Jim Sleezer, CISA
Jim Sleezer, MBA, CISA, retired last summer as an audit supervisor but has returned on a consulting basis to manage the Quality Assurance and Improvement Pro-gram (QAIP) for the Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents Department of Internal Audits. Jim has completed the IIA’s training on Performing an Effective Quality Assessment and has participated in Quality Assurance Reviews for several colleges, universities, and higher education system-level internal audit functions. Jim served four years as the Association of College and University Auditors’ (ACUA) Distance Learning Director. He was a member of the Association’s Professional Education Committee and an ACUA Board Member at Large, and is the 2010 recipient of the Association’s Excellence in Service Award. He is a past president of the ISACA Central Oklahoma (OKC) Chapter and a past Governor of the IIA Tulsa Chapter. He has presented at national and chapter events for IIA, ACUA, and ISACA as well as at Big 12 Internal Audi-tors Annual Conferences. In retirement, Jim is consulting with internal audit functions about their QAIP and serving on QAR (peer review) teams.
