WELCOME TO THE
IIA WNY CHAPTER
The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is a national professional organization dedicated to promoting internal auditing. Internal auditing is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations. It helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
The IIA Western New York (WNY) Chapter is located in Buffalo, New York. Our Chapter supports the internal auditing profession in the Buffalo area by sponsoring lunch meetings, seminars, and promoting internal audit professional development via wide ranges of opportunity for those interested in internal auditing to participate in various professional activities. Our chapter offers events from September through May.
We are committed to adding value to our members and the internal audit profession. Please explore our site for more information about the IIA WNY Chapter.
